Woman charged over illegal drugs

THE OFFICE of the City Prosecutor found probable cause to recommend a woman for trial over her illegal drugs case.

Prosecutor Rizalyn Gonzales-Pontanos charged Analyn Felizardo Sadiasa for violation of sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

The resolution stated that in the early dawn of Sept. 27, Sadiasa allegedly sold one heat-sealed transparent sachet weighing 0.0157 grams to the undercover cop for P500 in Purok 59, Phase 1, SIR, Matina.

Recovered from her possession was an improvised black plastic container containing three heat-sealed transparent sachets, each containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, weighing 0.0665 grams, 0.0070 grams, and 0.0950 grams.

The urine sample from the suspect also yielded positive for illegal drugs. The resolution said this is qualifying aggravating circumstance. Sadiasa is now detained in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) XI.
