Winners bared in Apo Jungolf tourney

PROMISING youth parbusters stole the limelight by winning respective brackets in the first Apo Golf and Country Club Junior golf tournament played last Saturday.

The honor roll includes: Boys (11 to 12 years-old) – champion: Edison Tabalin 83 (36), 1st r-up: Zeus Sara 83, 2nd r-up: Gerald dela Cerna 105; Boys (13-14 years-old) – champion: Felix John Abanos 86, 1st r-up: Alec Tan 88, 2nd r-up: Ken Rowell Zonio 91; Boys (15-17 years-old) – champion: Lloyd Labrador 76, 1st r-up: Alex Bisera 77and 2nd r-up: Edmar Salvador 79.

In the distaff side, they are Liana Pondias (champion – 104), Ashly Manuta (1st r-up – 111) and Anci Galicia (2nd r-up – 117). For the nine years-old and below, they are Jelena Jesu Villorente 49 (champion), Jia Feliz Villorente 61 (1st r-up) and Charlie Potter 65 (2nd r-up).

Special trophies were given to the winners during the awarding rites held after the games at the Apo Golf and Country Club clubhouse.

The Apo Golf and Country Club plans to hold its Junior golf tournament every month.
