Laurel Avenue and immediate environs (from corner Sta. Avenue to Durian Hotel towards Davao-Agusan Road), Cabaguio (from DECO Machine Shop to J.P. Laurel Avenue), Angliongto / Mamay Road (from corner J. P. Laurel Avenue to Carlos P. Garcia Highway), some areas in Lanang, Pampanga, and Sasa (from Lanang to Km. 12 including Doña Asuncion Subd., Summerhill Village, Guadalupe Village, Insular Village I and II, Fortune Executive Homes, Nova Tierra Village, Belen Homes, Pampanga Executive Homes, San Roque Village, Don Lorenzo Homes, Bolton Village, Doña Pilar Village, Southern Homes, Doña Paz Village, Hacienda Village, Old Airport Road, Doña Aurelia Village, Lougemar Village, Marla Compound, Doña Salud, Bel-Air Subd., and Mercedes Village), and Panacan (Crystal Meadows, Tierra Verde Village, EMI Ville Homes, Empress Subd., Tierra Niño Village, PMPC Village, Landmark II and III, San Juan Village, and Vista Verde I and II).

DCWD production wells under Line 2 of Dumoy WSS will be affected by Davao Light and Power Company’s (DLPC) power interruption on said date which is needed to facilitate the relocation of pole affected by the road widening project of the Department of Public Works and Highways. Although the power cut is shorter in duration, DCWD needs additional time for re-switching on of the affected facilities, pressure build up, and line delivery, thus    the longer duration of water service interruption.

Second set is on November 2, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM affecting these areas in Tacunan: portion of Tacunan Road (from corner Deca Homes to Ulah Brgy. Hall), Martyville Subd., IKP Village, Small Tacunan, and Marigold St. The Engineering and Construction Department will tap the Water Distribution System at Crestview Homes, Brgy. Ulah in Tugbok District. Once completed, said project will allow for the accommodation of additional service connections.

The DCWD management asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers. They are also advised to store enough water prior to the scheduled water service interruptions as water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.

The general public may visit DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph) and official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/davaowater) or call the Central Information Unit / Call Center through the 24-hour hotline 297-DCWD (3293) and press “1” on their phone dial for the latest daily water updates.
