Teams Black, Yellow get win no. 2 in D’Forty’s hoop

Defending champion team Black and Yellow bagged second wins after beating separate foes Thursday night in the ongoing 2018 D’Forty’s basketball tournament played at the Everball Gym and Recreation Center.

The defending champs outplayed team Maroon, 101-95 behind the pair of Cha-Cha Balisalisa and Winston Ho who finished with 24 and 20 points, respectively. Joe Francisco also added 19 for team Black which handed team Maroon its second setback despite Paul Esguerra’s 32 points on a losing effort.

Litoy Maguindanao finished with 28 points to lead team Yellow past Red, 96-91 for their second win. Maguindanao was backed by Elmer Butad who had 10 points that countered Jong Ancheta’s 18 for team Red.

Games are played every Tuesdays and Thursdays as supported by Suka Ni Angkol, Jongskie Auto Supply, Pertua Engine Oil, Joratracks Transport, YKG Merchandise, Waterboy Refilling Station, 4JM Merchandise, 2020 Fuel Station (Ma-a Road) and State of Mind Productions.
