TABULA RASA| ARTISTS FOR THE PHILIPPINE EAGLE AND OTHER BIRD SPECIES

FOR the love of our culture, Tabula rasa artists and other davao artists visited the Philippine Eagle Foundation in Malagos, Davao City to do on the spot drawing and painting.

That day, a group of bird watchers, led by DOT XI Regional Director Robbie alabado, were also at the site to have their monthly bird watching activity. He shared with the group the uniqueness and beauty of the bird kingdom of the Philippines and to promote it as part of our tourism activity. He believes that birds are beautiful subjects for art. Art can play a great role in raising awareness of our Philippine bird life and preservation of our trees and environment. He said, art can also be used to help raise funds for the Philippine Eagle Foundation, which does not only care for the Philippine Eagle but other birds found in the country as well.

Featured paintings and charcoal drawings on the left are some of the art pieces to be auctioned to help raise funds for the foundation. We encourage everyone to visit the Philippine Eagle Foundation and know more about how we can contribute to  our environment, the Philippine wild life and the Philippine Eagle Foundation.
