Stage set for Hunat Dabaw 5 Fun Run for A Cause

SOME 3,000 running enthusiasts are expected to answer the starting gun when the much-anticipated Hunat Dabaw 5 Fun Run For A Cause reels off this Sunday, September 10 on and out and back course starting at the Royal Mandaya Hotel in Palma Gil, this city.

These runners will be seeing action in the 3K, 5K and 10K race routes on a color foam fun run designed presentation which is dubbed this year as “Run to Rebuild Marawi”

Race chairman Meg Jolejole along with Royal Mandaya Hotel general manager Benjie Banzon and race director Jimmy Javier will welcome the participants in grand rites starting at 3 a.m.

Proceeds will go to the war victims of Marawi through the GMA Kapuso Foundation Incorporated. Registration is still ongoing pegged at  P390 for the 3K, P440 for the 5K and P490 for the 10K runs inclusive of a singlet, race bib, certificate, buffet breakfast and raffle coupon.

For the 3K, race will start from Royal Mandaya Hotel at Palma Gil Street going to Imperial Plaza located along JP Laurel, Bajada and back, for the 5K turning point will be at the Durian Hotel in Bajada and the Carmelite Monastery in Lanang for the 10K.

There will also be the traditional Zumba and warm-up exercises to be conducted prior to race proper at 4 a.m.
