Scene City | Seacom, Inc. celebrates 67th year in the Trading industry

CHAIRPERSON Teresita Mendoza Eleazar of Seacom, Inc. highlighted the inauguration of another branch in Davao City last Mar. 3, 2018, by urging everyone to continue to strive for excellence in all aspects and develop new partnerships in Davao that will help strengthen the economy.

The inauguration was attended by Davao City Mayor’s Representative, Mr. Lemuel Ortonio, majority of the Board of Directors, and some of their clients’ representatives as well.1

Seacom, Inc. is committed to establish strong connection and tie up with prospective clients and enhance their partnership, seeking for new innovations.

The celebration was graced by Seacom President, Mr. Ismael B. Cruz along with other Management Committee members. It was held at the newly renovated Seacom Office in Bajada, Davao City.

Seacom is the Philippine distributor of Mitsubishi Engines, KRM Rice Mills, SAME Farm Tractors, Powermak Generators and Pumps, Jetmatic Centon Water Heaters, Jetmatic Water Pumps and other products.

Japanese Film Festival: EIGASAI 2018

In celebration of the Philippine-Japan Friendship Month, Japan Foundation, Manila presents the Japanese Film Festival widely known and appreciated in the Philippines as EIGASAI. Organized in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines and its consular offices in Cebu and Davao, the EIGASAI showcases a vast variety of cinematic delights from drama, anime, mystery to recently released films in Japan. All films are free admission and shown with English subtitles.a

Launched in 1997, the EIGASAI has grown into one of the largest international film festivals in the Philippines, attracting more than 25,000 every year. Since film is a fascinating and powerful medium that journeys across borders and inspires all walks of life, the EIGASAI aims to promote art and cultural heritage between the Philippines and Japan. In Davao City, a total of twelve films were carefully selected and will be screened from July 12 (Thursday to July 15 (Sunday) at SM Cinema 4, SM City Davao, Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City.

The featured films for this year are Tori Girl, ReLIFE, KLETS GO, JETS! From Small Town Girls to U.S. Champions, Chihayufuru Parts 1,2, and 3, Daytime Shooting Star Honnouji Hotel, Tora-san of Goto, Survival Family, the Anime, Rudolf the Black Cat and Memoirs of a Murderer.
