Scene City | Monteritz Town Plaza breaks ground

A DIVERSE tenant mix will be featured at Monteritz Town Plaza as the premier commercial development by Urbaneast Developments, Inc. held its ground breaking on June, 11, 2018.

This unique and accessible community strip mall combines a complete mix of local, national and international brands, offering a new and complete experience to customers.

The Town Plaza at Monteritz, a one-hectare master-planned premium commercial development will feature wide pedestrian walkways, ample parking spaces, driveways, al fresco dining areas, pocket landscape greenery, shaded sitting areas, event and function spaces, public transport waiting bays, multiple public restrooms, grand marquees and lighted pylons.

The Town Plaza at Monteritz will be distinctly characterized by a functioning Clock Tower and anchored by a diverse mix of key tenants, with ample parking located at one of Davao’s busiest intersections along a major national highway and surrounded by gated residential communities.

Parcel 1 includes a plaza area for events, restaurants, fitness gym, dance studio, dental clinic, a government office branch, arcade and ATM among others. Parcel 2 will have a supermarket, food stalls, service centers, appliance store and BPO/Outsourcing office.

Urbaneast Developments, Inc. traces its development from Bayanihan Lumber, a Davao City-based family business engaged in hardware retailing by Engt. Rodolfo M. Bernardo, Jr. in the 1960′s. In the 1090′s and 1990′s Robern Development Corporation (Robern) is incorporated, diversfying Bayanihan LUImber;s opeations into residential housing and subdivision development, which includes Talomo Teachers Village, South Villa Country Homes, South Villa Heights and Monteritz Classic Estates.

In 2005, Urbaneast Developments Inc. was incorporated as a separate entity by Edward A. Bernardo, the only son of Engr. Rodolfo Bernardo, Jr. and began commercial operation in 2006.
