Scene City | Hannah Isabelle Trinidad Bancel tries her luck at Miss Philippines USA

She was having dinner at Max’s Resto in Pasadena, California when she was spotted by the pageant coordinator of Miss Philippines USA. Eighteen year-old Hannah Isabel Trinidad was taking up a course in nursing and felt she had nothing to lose but everything to gain if she tried to join the competition since she was young and eager to learn the basics of being a candidate for the title of Miss Philippines USA.


Born on Sept. 3, 1999 in Quezon City, Philippines, she lived in Davao City with her parents Dennis Jardiel Bancel and her mother Annelyn Trinidad Bancel.

Her Elementary Education was at Precious International School, Matina, Davao City, but she left the country and went to High School Education and graduated from Indian River School, Pasadena, California, USA.

Hannah Isabelle stands 5’3” and believes fate plays a big role in her life. She loves ballet and drawing, and her advocacy is that Third World countries should be given access to potable water. During the course of the pageant, performing outreach activities played an important role.

She was number 14 out of 35 contestants and even managed to reach to the Top 4 of the semi-finals.



The finals took place on July 22, 2018, with the voting starting on July 10 with live streaming on YouTube.

Fir Hannah Isabel, it was truly a great experience, though she did not win the competition. This was just a stepping stone to more exciting challenges in the future which was not given to everyone. Being given the opportunity to participate was indeed an unforgettable experience she will cherish forever. Her effort was worth all the beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Who knows?
