SCENE CITY| Dinner at Taishosan

ALTHOUGH we did not have to sit on the floor on a wooden floor, it was still a dinner with traditional Japanese dishes. And the restaurant is situated inside a refurbished container van which gives it a very modern and conventional design for Taishosan. There is no other eatery constructed with this concept, and we were surprised to find friends filling the place to enjoy Japanese cuisine.

Pamela Pitts with Japanese Chef and Francis Ray Pana-Finstad enjoying dinner at Taishosan

The owner, Mrs. Pamela Pitts introduced us to a good friend of hers, a Japanese gentleman and chef who loves to cook Japanese food, and there we enjoyed dinner in the company of some members of the Davao Digital Influencers and a celebrity in the world of Make-up artistry, Francis Ray Pana-Finstad. Francis Ray is from Panabo City but he has traveled to China. He was based in Indonesia for some time working as a make-up artist, catering to the beauty queens of Indonesia and lately relocated to Norway.

The restaurant is located along the farthest end of Ruby St. in Marfori Heights Subdivision on the way to San Rafael Village.

Thank you, Jojie Alcantara and Chiqui Aportadera for some of the photos.
