Performance standards for microinsurance are Stability, Efficiency, Governance, Understanding, Rate of Growth, and Outreach (SEGURO) that are closely supervised by the Insurance Commission. The Philippines has been recognized as the leading nation in Asia in participating in the world goal of financial inclusion through microinsurance. Thus, this proposed dissertation wants to study the impact of performance standards required on Mi-Mutual Benefit Associations in the Philippines towards life microinsurance consumption of member-clients. Under a pragmatism research philosophy, this study

shall use mixed methods approach in discovering explanation to life microinsurance expenditure decisions.
