POLICE FILES: Laborer stabs neighbor

A LABORER was stabbed by his neighbor, also a laborer, in Lower Madapo, Barangay 5-A, Bankerohan, on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Lumayano Satiera, 36, a resident of the area.

The suspect was identified as Tamil Damali Autida, 28, also a resident of the same area.

In the initial police investigation, Satiera was standing outside a neighbor’s house when the suspect suddenly appeared and stabbed him with an undetermined pointed object. The victim sustained injury in his shoulder,

The suspect immediately left the crime scene.

The victim was brought to Brokenshire Hospital for immediate treatment and was then confined at the Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) for observations.

1 wounded in shooting incident

A 28-YEAR-OLD was wounded in a shooting incident in Purok Ipil Beach, Barangay Vicente Duterte in Agdao District around 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The victim was identified as Billy Joe Dayagro, 28, a resident of the said area.

The suspect was identified as Wagi Amante Jr., legal age, jobless and resident of Conveyor in Brgy. Tibungco, Bunawan District.

According to the initial investigation, the victim was playing billiard when the suspect suddenly approached him.

With no apparent reason, the suspect drew an undetermined caliber firearm and shot the victim.

The victim sustained a gunshot wound on his left chest.

The suspect then fled as bystanders gave a chase.

Dayagro was rushed to Southern Philippine Medical Center for treatment.

Man arrested for gun possession

A MAN bringing an improvised gun was arrested in an Oplan Kapkap operation conducted by Task Force Davao in San Pedro Street at 9 p.m. Sunday,

The suspect was identified as Ricky Labisores, 21, a resident of Kiblawan, Davao del Sur.

Based on the report, Task Force Davao was conducting inspection along the street where City Hall is located.

When Labisores was about to be inspected, he immediately ran away. TFD agents caught him.

Upon frisking the suspect’s bag, police recovered an improvised hand gun commonly known as sumpak, and three live bullets of assorted calibers.Lyra P. Diansay, JMC Intern
