POLICE FILES: Drunk man stabbed

AN ELECTRICIAN was stabbed while he was sleeping at Kasilak, Barangay 76-A early morning yesterday.

The victim was identified as Jovany L. Ollo, 22, a resident of S.I.R. Matina.

The initial investigation conducted by the San Pedro Police Precinct revealed that the victim passed out from alcohol and was lying along Tambis Street, Purok 14 when he was stabbed by two unidentified men for unknown reasons. They escaped after the incident.

The victim succumbed to three stab wounds on his chest. His remains were brought to the Angel Funeral Homes. Elements of the San Pedro Police Precinct are investigating the incident to determine the motive and identities of the two perpetrators. Christian Blair Samante/UM Intern


Laborer, 21, dies from electrocution

A LABORER died from electrocution at Bread Village, Buhangin District on yesterday morning.

The victim was identified as Jaymark Parajinog, 21, of Tres de Mayo, Digos City.

The initial investigation conducted by SPO1 Allie Plaza revealed that the victim was climbing a coconut tree when he accidentally stepped on a high-tension live wire. He fell head-first towards the concrete road.

Two caught for ‘last two’

THE SAN Pedro Police Precinct conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation at Bucana, Barangay 76-A around 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The suspects were identified as Alton Emilio Cuba, 54, and Rowena G. Oliveros, 56, both residents of Barangay Bucana.

They confiscated last two paraphernalia and P475 in bet money. The suspects are now under the custody of the San Pedro Police Precinct. Elijah James Palaca/UM Intern
