PCCL City elims tip off Oct. 22

THE 2017 Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL) City eliminations which will tips off in grand rites this October 22 at the Davao City Recreation Center (Almendras gym).

Suiting up for the three-week long eliminations which will follow the bracket format are Jose Maria Colleges, Ateneo de Davao University, STI College of Davao and Brokenshire College in Category A; Holy Cross of Davao College, St. John Paul II College of Davao, Philippine Women’s College, Cor Jesu College and University of Immaculate Conception in Category B and the cast of Agro Industrial Foundation, Davao Merchant Marine Academy, Holy Cross College of Sasa and Rizal Memorial Colleges for Category C.

The brackets were drawn by respective coaches during their meeting held last Monday night at the Royal Mandaya Hotel as supervised by SBP-XI operations head Ronnel Leuterio who represented SBP-XI director Glenn Escandor along with SBP City Officials Atty. Francis Calatrava and Billy Cruzada.

Set for tip off will be Ateneo de Davao University against STI College to be followed by Holy Cross of Davao College against University of Immaculate Conception. Third game will feature Davao Merchant Marine Academy against Rizal Memorial Colleges.

“We will still have to get the exact time or schedule as we will have the traditional opening ceremonies,” Leuterio said.

Participating teams are required to submit their final line-up on October 20 with their respective certifications.

The champion team will then proceed to the Mindanao Finals which will also be stage here in Davao this November.
