Motorcycles, LED TVs are 8th UMAGA Open hole-in-one booties

FOUR brand new motorcycles courtesy of Motortrade and two LED television sets will be up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes in the coming 8th University of Mindanao Alumni Golf Association (UMAGA) Open tournament on October 14 and 15 at the Matina Davao City Golf Club.

“It will be on designated par three fairways,” said UMAGA President Reuben Erickson adding that some 180 golfers are expected to see action in the two-day tournament which will follow the Modified Stableford, 18-hole individual mode of play.

Categories to be contested are the Class A (0-9 hdcp), B (10-15 hdcp), C (16-21 hdcp),D (22-27 hdcp) and Seniors (ages 65 years-old and up) with trophies and merchandise at stake for the gross and net winners.

Registration fee is pegged at P1,500 inclusive of a mulligan and a signature UMAGA golf shirt. However, if one wishes to play on a second game, he or she will add P1,000.

Proceeds of the tournament will benefit a particular charitable institution which will be determined by the officers.

Registration is now going on at the Davao City Golf Club (Matina) until October 13, 2017.

Tee-off times will be from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at those dates. The awarding ceremonies will be on October 15, 5:30 p.m. at the Davao City Golf Club (Matina) clubhouse.
