Mitsubishi Mirage, one million pesos are 30th GET Open hole-in-one prize

A BRAND new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan and one million pesos cash will be at stake as the hole-in-one prizes in the coming 30th Guillermo E. Torres (GET) Open golf tournament set to tee off this June 10 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.It will be on designated par 3 holes, according to tournament coordinator Roy Geonzon who added that the competition will be following the 18-hole modified scoring system format with some 200 expected entries.

The tournament dubbed as the city’s longest running golf spectacle to date is open to all male and female golfers who are 21 years-old and older joining the Class A, B C and Ladies divisions.

Registration fee is pegged at P2,000 per entry inclusive of a mulligan. Registration and payments are made available at the Apo Golf and Country Club and at the University of Mindanao Broadcasting Network (UMBN) office.

The Royal Mandaya Hotel Grand Ballroom will host the awarding ceremonies which will be that night at 6:30 p.m.

Backing the event are Metropolitan Insurance Company, Mitsubishi Motors/Kar Asia, Malayan Insurance, Motortrade, the Royal Mandaya Hotel and the University of Mindanao.

Proceeds will go to the scholars of the Mount Apo Science Foundation.
