Man in slay sued

A MAN is facing criminal complaint after he allegedly killed a carwash boy at back of the shop in Barangay Puan, Talomo District on April 21.

Marlon R. Sambile, 31, and a resident of Piapi, Quezon Boulevard, Barangay 21-C, was sued for murder for killing alias Quicky, who was in his 20s at the time of the killing.

Sambile is now temporarily held at Talomo Police Precinct while waiting for Prosecutor Panfilo Lovitos to resolve his case.

The complaint against Sambile was filed by Cecilio R. Ma, relative of the victim.

Initial investigation showed that on April 21 at 5 p.m. Sambile and the victim were drinking at the back of the carwash establishment when suddenly the former reportedly struck the head of the victim with a metal pipe.

The victim retaliated and tried to defend himself. However, Sambile drew a knife and stabbed the victim twice in his stomach. After the attack, the victim was brought to Southern Philippines Medical Center but died upon arrival.

Sambile escaped but was arrested hour after the police conducted a follow-up operation for his apprehension.
