KING MURDER: Fifth prosecution witness presented

A POLICE operative who responded in the June 12, 2014 murder of Cebu-based businessman Richard Lim King yesterday testified in court.

The Scene of the Crime Operations (SOCO) photographer, name withheld as requested by the court, identified the cadaver of King through photographs.

The witness described the crime scene at Vital-C office in Sobrecarey Street, Bo. Obrero when they arrived at the area.

Supt. Leonardo Felonia, then the regional police intelligence unit in Southern Mindanao, stands trial in the murder case pending.

Judge Emmanuel Carpio of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 16 set to resume the hearing on April 3.

The prosecution panel has lined up at least 20 witnesses. Five of the witnesses already testified against Felonia and co-accused brothers Rommel and Rodel Dela Cerna and Paul Dave Labang.

The Dela Cerna brothers and Labang pointed to Felonia as the one who ordered them to kill King.

During the ocular inspection of the crime scene last  Nov. 22, prosecution witness Boboy Roldan,  the nurse on duty, reenacted the incident. He pointed Labang as the man who shot King.
