Job fair set on April 27

THE CITY Government, in coordination with the Nippon Industrial and Cultural Exchange, will hold a job fair on Friday, April 27, at Davao City Recreational Gym.Vice Mayor Bernard Al-Ag, in an interview, told reporters that the job fair will serve as an avenue to connect the unemployed to the establishments.

“We observed that there are so many available jobs and we have many constituents in Davao City with no work at the moment,” he said. “This is a way of connecting the employees to the employers.”

According to Al-ag, there are a total of 25 employers from local and international agencies that will participate in the job fair.

He said there are also jobs available for high school graduates.

“I am hoping that Davaoenos will go there and look for a job which is suitable to their present skills,” said Al-ag, adding that “this is a one-day event so let’s take advantage of this.”
