The establishment of the new law school is hoped to answer  the growing demand for more law schools in the Davao Region that will meet the financial resources of the students without compromising the quality of legal education.

As another milestone achieved by Jose Maria College, the JMC College of Law aims to prepare students for a career in law, train them for service, responsibility and leadership in the government and the private sector as well as to produce competent, honest and dedicated lawyers who can be advocates of peace and equal opportunities for all; legal practitioners motivated by the ideals of truth and justice.
