Indonesia to hold fashion expo: exec

THE CONSULATE General of Indonesia is set to conduct the 1st Indonesia Fashion Expo (IFE), which includes business matching and tourism promotion, on November 24-26 at the activity center in Abreeza Mall.

In the expo, Indonesian Consul General Berlian Napitupulu said in a statement that they would showcase clothing products, bags, shoes and fashion accessories to be marketed in the Philippines.

The IFE, he said, also includes one-on-one business matching, music and cultural performances and tourism promotion.

“In collaboration with the Abreeza Mall, the Consulate General has incorporated this IFE 2017 in the Abreeza Mall’s Christmas and New Year promotion and sale program to enliven the expo and attract more potential buyers and partners,” Napitupulu said.

The expo is supported by the city government, Department of Trade and Industry XI and Department of Tourism XI.

The Consulate General of Indonesia has been conducting different events in the city, including the 1st Indonesian Manufactured Products Expo last July 22-24 at the Indonesian Convention Center in Juna Subdivision.

The 1st Indonesian Manufactured Products Expo was joined by 20 Indonesia-based companies.

In March, the Consulate General of Indonesia also staged Indonesian Trade Expo, which had 18 booths, at the House of Indonesia and Indonesia Culinary Festival, which showcased their authentic food, at Marco Polo Davao Hotel.
