Grudge seen as motivein slay of 32-year-old pa

A 32-YEAR-OLD man died after he was stabbed in Don Julian Village, Barangay Ma-a, Talomo District on Sunday evening.

The police report identified the victim as Nelson Magpanulong Baclay, resident of Hope Street of the same subdivision, while the suspects were Ruben Gonzales, 50, and Victor Gonzales, 40, both residents of Ma-a.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim and his daughter were walking in the area when he was waylaid and suddenly stabbed by the suspects.

The suspects escaped while Baclay was rushed to Brokenshire hospital but died upon arrival.

Prior to the incident, the suspects were seen by neighbors drinking liquor at the videoke house near their house. Motive of the incident is believed to be personal grudge.

Personnel of the Talomo police are now conducting a follow-up operation to arrest the suspects.

Meanwhile,  San Pedro police has filed murder charge before the Office of the City Prosecutor against Ryan Paul B. Mirasol, Albaser A. Diomadil, Roy P. Revilla, Sonny D. Diomadil, and Jonel D. Dionadil for killing Maverick A. Onggo last Sept. 8 in Bucana, Barangay 76-A.

Revilla is also sued for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) as authorities seized two kitchen knives and a hunting knife, as well as marijuana leaves, fruiting tops and a folded newspaper concealing dried marijuana from his possession during his arrest.
