THE “prodigal sons” of radio station DXWT FM in Davao City pay tribute to their listeners every Sunday afternoon on 92.3 mhz. by playing live beatmatched dance music between 3 and 6 P.M. Led by real life best friends Benny Tacal (a.k.a. Big Ben) and Eric Palo (a.k.a. Eric Generic), the 80s and 90s dance music experts gather at the original studio of WT FM at the 7th floor of the University of Mindanao research tower building to blast the airwaves with nostalgic disco tunes.

Edison Sablay (a.k.a. George Edison), Bobet Dayanan (a.k.a. Vampire Rockin’ Seesaw), and Michaelangelo Herico (a.k.a. CJ Michael) also share their mixing skills that earned them loyal followers in the previous millennium. Their weekly reunion gig is sponsored by WAV Entertainment Central, formerly the Acropolis Super Club, at Cayetano Bangoy (Ponciano Reyes) Street, Davao City.

Also dedicated to their colleagues who have joined St. Peter in the sky, the original Wild Boys of 92.3 WT FM honor Ating Suaner (a.k.a. Baby Johnny), Rey Gonzales (a.k.a. Speedy Rey), and Edgar Remedios (a.k.a. Rocky) with the brand of radio music that only the originals can recreate.

With Jan Michael Domingo (a.k.a. DJ Michael), the Wild Boys can also be heard playing live beatmatched dance music on Retro 95.5 FM every Saturday night between 6 and 9 P.M.

Big Ben, Eric Generic, George Edison, Vampire Rockin’ Seesaw, CJ Michael, and DJ Michael play at WAV Entertainment Central every Friday night, broadcast live on Wild 92.3 WT FM.
