FREEZE| Balayage

BALYAGE (balāˈyäZH) is a French word that means to sweep or to paint. In the beauty world, balayage is a technique for highlighting the hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way to create a graduated, natural looking effect. It has been around for a while but this technique has found its way back into being one of the most popular hair color requests in salons today.

Pinky Pineda and Golda Divinagracia’s Pink & Gold Salon has a balayage expert named Marlon Gonzaga. Marlon has more than a decade of hairstyling experience in Manila. He said that balayage in Manila costs between 10,000 and 15,000 pesos – depending on the level of difficulty to apply the planned color. At Pink & Gold, it is way much cheaper that many people from Manila come over to Davao for balayage, look fabulous, and still enjoy sightseeing activities.

To tap a slightly different market, Pinky and Golda decided to open HD Salon at Quimpo Boulevard last Friday, July 7, 2017. HD is for those who want bolder and more vibrant balayage at less than the prices at Pink & Gold, its mother salon. Marlon Gonzaga has trained the balayage hairstylists there.

Congratulations to Pinky, Golda, and Marlon for bringing the balayage experience to the budget-conscious via HD Salon.
