Four patrol vehicles received by PRO XI

The police Regional Office XI received four patrol vehicles from the national headquarters on Friday in support of the security operations for the Davao Region.
The blessing of the patrol vehicles and other office equipment was also conducted yesterday in ceremonies held in Camp Quintin Merecido in Barangay Catitipan, Buhangin District.

Chief Insp. Milgrace Driz, the regional police spokesperson, said in an interview yesterday that the two vehicles are intended for the Regional Police Community Relations Division and Regional Intelligence Division; the other two unmarked vehicles will service the regional director and deputy regional director for administration.

The region was also given five units of computers to address the workload demand.

“These (Innova) vehicles will be intended for administrative and operational function of the PNP in pursuit of our mandate of anti-criminality,” She said,
adding that the vehicles will help “make fast delivery of services and response to the need of help for security, surveillance and investigation.”

Also yesterday, a simple ceremony for the oath-taking and donning of ranks of Sr. Supt Cedric Tamayo and other officers at the culmination of 24th Culmination of National Crime Prevention Month with the National Police Commission.
