Escandor Cup 2018: JMC Kings, DRANHS, DJA drub foes

THE JOSE Maria Colleges Kings along with Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High and Davao Jones Academy went on to score separate wins on the Escandor Cup 2018 opening day played at the Davao City Recreation Center.

The JMC Kings bested Assumption College of Davao, 84-54 while DRANHS nipped rival Davao City National High, 95-76.

Davao Jones Academy also had their share of victory at the expense of Ford Academy of the Arts, 95-77.

The event sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas –XI are played every weekends at the said venue.

No less than SBP-XI director and Presidential Assistant on Sports Glenn Y. Escandor welcomed the participating teams in grand rites highlighting the traditional ceremonial toss.

Other teams seeing action in the 17 year-old and under age group competition are Agro Industrial Foundation, Holy Cross College of Sasa, Rizal Memorial Colleges, Philippine Women’s College, Bernardo Carpio National High School, Sakya, San Pedro College, St. Mary’s School of Tagum, Ateneo de Davao University, EMAR Human Environmental College, Holy Child College of Davao, Nikkei Jin Kai International School and Cor Jesu College of Tagum. – jon develos
