‘Drug pusher’ resists arrest, killed by cops

AN ALLEGED drug pusher was killed after he allegedly tried to resist arrest during the buy-bust operation of the San Pedro Police Precinct on Saturday afternoon along San Pedro Extension.

Sr. Insp. Ronald Lao, San Pedro Police Precinct commander, identified the suspect as Kalid Kamlon, resident of the place.

According to Lao, Kamlon handed over a sachet of shabu to a police undercover in exchange for P500. However, when he was about to be arrested, he allegedly pulled out his .45 caliber pistol from his waist and pointed it at the officers.

Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered three big sachets of shabu with an estimated value of P135,000, a .45 pistol loaded with seven bullets and Nokia cellular phone.

The cadaver of the suspect was turned over to his family for the burial in accordance to Islam tradition.
