DLPC Customers told to settle bills at payment centers

THE DAVAO Light and Power Co. (DLPC) advised its clients to pay their electricity bills in the accredited payment centers as its full service centers in SM malls were still down.

 In an advisory, DLPC said customers can pay in Savemore, 2GO Express, BDO, Security Bank, Union Bank, One Network Bank, Ebiz, LBC, Mail and More, Philpost, Prime Asia, Western Union, Villarica, Enterprise Bank, The Paper Tree and Aeromania Propeller Overhaul.

 The other payment centers include Clickster Gaming Station, E-Link Tagum, Greenfield Marketing, Banana Mobile Group, MR Serve Laguna, HB1, NCCC supermarkets, Cecile KC Pawnshop, Prime Asia, Cebuna Lhuiller, Megalink and Diners Card.

 Davao Light’s clients can also pay their bills in Petron gasoline stations on the way airport, Tibungco, Tigatto, Buhangin, GSIS Matina, McArthur Highway, Bangkal, Toril, Ecoland, Bajada and Monteverde.

 The full service centers of the company in SM City Davao and SM Lanang were down as the data center was razed Sunday morning. The data center of the company was located in its office in C. Bangoy Sr. St.

 The authorities probed on the fire incident.

 Rodger S. Velasco, executive vice president and chief operating officer of DLPC, said in a statement that clients can contact the company regarding on their concerns through their Facebook page and Twitter account.

 As of Sunday, the DLPC said the customer services at the SM Malls and the company’s branch Panabo such as bill payments, complaints and applications are temporarily being processed manually.

 “We deeply apologize to our customers for any inconvenience the incident may cause them,” Velasco said.
