DCWD launches new CitCha, CAN

THE 2016 Citizen’s Charter (CitCha) and Collective Negotiation Agreement (CNA) for 2016 to 2019 of Davao City Water District were launched in a back-to-back ceremony during the employee’s September convocation. The launching coincided with the celebration of the 116th Philippine Civil Service anniversary themed “Sigaw ng Lingkod Bayani: Malasakit Para Sa Taumbayan, Kapwa Kawani, at Kalikasan.”

The revised Citizen’s Charter comes with improvements in DCWD’s customer services. Aside from the 24/7 hotline 297-DCWD (3293), 0927-7988966, 0925-5113293 and 0908-4410653, added offsite customer support services are email (callcenter@davao-water.gov.ph) and chat via DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph). Improvements in the duration of transactions and streamlining of procedures such as the integration of the registration for Senior Citizen Discount Privilege in the New Service Connection (NSC) and Change of Name applications and availability of downloadable application form for NSC in DCWD website have also been incorporated in the revised Charter. Also disseminated in the revised CitCha are information on the DCWD collection centers in Felcris Toril, Felcris Centrale, and SM Lanang Premier as well as the online water bill payment via Landbank (https://lbpiaccess.com).

Meanwhile, the CNA for 2016 until 2019 forged between DCWD management and the Nagkahiusang Mamumu-o sa Davao City Water District (NAMADACWAD) articulates the collaborative efforts to improve the working conditions of employees in terms of welfare, benefits, professional growth, and development. Signatories were DCWD general manager Edwin V. Regalado, NAMADACWAD president Rodrigo L. Aranjuez, and the respective management and labor panels.

Witnessing the back-to-back launching were vice-chairperson of DCWD Board of Directors and Personnel Committee chairperson Atty. Abdul M. Dataya and guests Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region XI director Annabelle Rosell and CSC Davao City Field Office director Minda Garcia-Ostique who all congratulated the management and employees for the successful undertaking for the employees and customers.
