Moreover, the survey showed that the City Social Services and Development Office (CSSDO) and the City Health Office (CHO) had the most popular programs and services.

The respondents were asked to rate a series of local government projects from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest in terms of awareness of the project and its accessibility.

“The City Government’s Lingap sa Mahirap is the most popular project with a very high awareness (8.6) though its accessibility tends to be lower at 6.96 but considered still as high accessibility,” the survey result said.

Meanwhile, Davaoeños could not yet feel the effect of a taxi app that was recently developed by operators upon the prodding of Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio during her state of the city address earlier this year.

The survey added that the child abuse “Kean Gabriel hotline” was not yet as popular, with Davaoeños still reminded of an old hotline 163 that was run by a television network in the past. According to the survey, only a little more than 3 in 10 of respondents are aware of the hotline.

The study was conducted from Oct. 11 to 21 by UM’s Institute of Popular Opinion, with a 5% margin of error and 95% confidence level.
