Davao HRSMA: United, Passionate, Steadfast

DAVAO’S sales and marketing professionals from the different hotels and resorts came together for a three-leg courtesy visit to their respected corporate and industry partners in the city. A symbol of unity, oneness, and burning passion for the hospitality business – these activities do not only support the hotel and tourism industry, but the city government’s endeavors as well.

The association conducted a weekly visit on the different areas in Davao. Its first leg was last June 7 focusing on the North area, the second leg on June 14 covered downtown to South areas, and the third leg on June 28 will cover south of the city to the outskirts of the region/Davao del Sur (up to Digos areas). “Aside from collectively introducing ourselves as one association that’s united, supportive, and strong given any circumstance, we also want our partners to know that beyond competition, we are one industry and we will work together in elevating the business in Davao City,” said Ms. Jennifer Romero, HRSMA President and Sales and Marketing Manager of Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao.

Davao HRSMA has been in the region for a long time, with members who are experienced and have progressive vision for the sales and marketing business. It has recently elected its new set of officers and launched its new logo, and is expected to work closely on public and private partners in creating projects that will benefit the industry and the region.

Currently, the association has 20 members, namely: Waterfront Insular Hotel Davao, Seda Abreeza Hotel, Pearl Farm Beach Resort, Eden Nature Park & Resort, The Pinnacle Hotel and Suites, The Ritz Hotel at Garden Oases, Big 8 Corporate Hotel, Red Planet, Humberto’s Hotel, Hotel Tropika, Amiya Resort Residences, Park Inn by Radisson Davao, Marco Polo Davao, Apo View Hotel, Grand Regal Hotel, Microtel by Wyndham Davao, El Bajada Hotel, Go Hotels, Hijo Resorts Davao, and Malagos Garden Resort.
