Damosa Land bags award for condo in prestigious tilt

Homegrown property developer Damosa Land Inc. (DLI) has added another feather to its colorful cap after it snared the award for condominium in the Philippines category in the Asia Pacific Property Award 2018.

Ricardo F. Lagdameo, DLI vice president, yesterday said the award is a testament to the efforts of the company to satisfy its market. “This award serves as a seal of quality that we are following the international standards in property development,” said Lagdameo, grandson of company founder Don Antonio O. Floirendo.
He added that the award “pushes to do more not only to meet our calendar but to deliver the best residential developments that our clients deserve.”
Given early this month in Bangkok, Thailand, The Asia Pacific Property Awards is part of the prestigious International Property Awards for residential and commercial property professionals in the world.
Based on the awards website, the organizers said: They celebrate the highest levels of achievement by companies operating in all sectors of the property and real estate industry” as it is a “world-renowned mark of excellence.”
“It assures both potential and existing clients that they are partnering with the industry’s best. The awards are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, UK and USA,” it added.
The award was a step higher for the company as the same project bagged the Highly Commended Award for Best Residential Development in Davao in the Philippine Property Awards last year.
Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, said in a press statement: “Attaining one of these coveted awards proves the necessary qualities and professionalism to excel over other companies within the highly competitive Asia Pacific arena.”
Seawind, the first condominium project of DLI, is into building the last of its six-tower condominium project in Sasa as the third tower is into the final phase while the foundation of the fourth has been completed. Both the two towers are set to be completed next year.
The project, which gives its unit owners the view of the scenic Island Garden City of Samal, also offers the best amenities, like its club house and swimming pool, as well as ambience that can hardly be found in other developments in the city.
The company is part of the Anflo Group of Companies, “the conglomerate responsible for developing a business and lifestyle-oriented commercial center, the Damosa District,” it said.
