Company looking at Davao

CROSSBORDER payments company Payoneer is pivoting its services to a lucrative freelance market in Davao City.

Speaking at the Park Inn by Radisson in Lanang, Payoneer Philippines country manager Miguel Warren said the city’s vibrant online business community is ripe for the services of the newly launched business payments system.

‘Payoneer is very excited to bring our Payoneer Forum to Davao. We hope to engage companies and business professionals in the lT-BPM field and work with government groups to help further nurture the Industry,” Warren said.

The app provides payment solutions to leading brands such as Airbnb. Amazon. Google and Upwork as well as millions of small businesses around the worid.

With more than 3 million users worldwide, Payoneer can send money to more than 200 countries and regions. in over 150 currencies.

The app developer recently launched its Manila office, November last year.

‘We arm to empower freelancers and entrepreneurs by making it more convenient to send and receive payments from international clients,” Warren said.
