Coastchella 2017 is Coming to the coast this May

DAVAO CITY — On May 29-31, 2017, twenty (20) highly selected youth leaders all over Davao City will experience CoastChella 2017, the first and only environmental festival in the country to be held at the Island Garden City of Samal.

CoastChella is not an ordinary entertainment event, but an initiative to help the planet by creating responsible eco-warriors who will lead in protecting the environment in general.

CoastChella is a banner program of #BringBacktheColor Campaign— an action-oriented, multi-sectoral movement designed to propagate our city into a greener one. It is a by-the-coast festival and camp with intensive environmental leadership and exposure program to empower young leaders, ages 18-25 from different organizations in the city. By the end of the camp, it aims to produce environmental youth leaders that will carry out different projects throughout the city.

The event is braced up through the initiative of Let’s Do It! Philippines Youth Davao (LDI Youth Davao), in association with ASEAN Youth Leaders Association-DVO (AYLA- Davao), Mindanao Youth Development Center, Inc , Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) and in partnership with wholly-owned AboitizPower subsidiary Therma South, Inc.

Interested parties can channel their support by liking and following the official page of the Bring Back the Color Campaign for updates at Facebook.com/BringBackTheColorPH.
