Army reservist busted for drugs

AUTHORITIES arrested an army reservist during a buy-bust operation on Thursday night.

 In the spot report from the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), the arrested army reservist was identified as Mike Hayden Zuzulan, 41, who was assigned at Regional Community Defense Group XI in Mintal and resident of Muslim Village in Sasa.

 “Subject person is included in the Sasa Police Station watch list and considered a high-value target,” the spot report cited.

 Among those recovered and confiscated from the suspect were one piece rectangular size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet and one piece medium square size heat-sealed transparent plastic, which allegedly contained shabu.

 Authorities also seized one piece P1,000 as buy-bust money and one .45 caliber pistol with one loaded magazine and three live ammunitions. The suspect is now under the custody of Sasa Police Station.

 Meanwhile, the PDEA and the Investigation and Detection Management Branch of Davao City Police Office also conducted buy-bust operation Thursday night that led to the arrest of Peter Bermudez, 28, for selling one sachet of suspected shabu.

 At 12:15 am yesterday morning, another buy-bust operation was conducted by PDEA with San Pedro Police Station at Fatima Village, Brgy. 19-B that resulted to the arrest of Julius Bancure. They were able to confiscate one medium pack suspected to contain dried marijuana leaves.

 Both Bermudez and Bancure are now detained at the detention facility of PDEA XI. KMF
