All set for 12th Pomelo Tee

SOME 120 golfers are expected to conquer the greens when the 12th Pomelo Tee Invitational golf tournament tees off in grand rites this April 27 to 30 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club.

These golfers will play this year’s edition of the tournament which will follow the 36 hole stroke play team and individual competition using the modified Stableford system.

Hole-in-one prizes at stake are a Mitsubishi Montero Sport, one Rancho Palos Verdes Golf Share, a Royal Caribbean Cruise, P500,000 cash; one motorcycle and a Daikin air condition unit. All will be at designated holes on par 3 fairways.

Proceeds of the tournament will go to the various projects of the Pomelo Tee Foundation. This year’s beneficiaries are the Pablo Lorenzo National High School in Mandug and the Teofilo V. Fernandez National High.

The awarding ceremonies will be at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club clubhouse on April 30 at 6 p.m.

Co-presented by the Pomelo Tee Foundation Incorporated and Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club, the tournament is also supported by Hexat Mining, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines,Petron and Rotto Fresh as Platinum sponsors while Gold sponsors are Green Hope Agri-Development, Hijo Resources,MABVCO, Monark-Cat, Power Up/Petron, Red Bank, Sta.
