9 nabbed in Bulabog

NINE persons with warrant of arrest were collared by authorities during the joint Oplan Bulabog in the different areas of the city yesterday.

 Davao City Police Office (DCPO) director Sr. Supt. Alexander Tagum told TIMES yesterday that the anti-criminality and terrorism operations also resulted in the profiling of 1,527 residents, including 130 individuals who have no identification card.

 The arrested suspects were identified as Bernardo Luto (illegal drugs), Jovencio Cocjin (attempted murder), Vincent Capunong (robbery), Gregorio Barcoma (illegal fishing), Glenda Murakimi (SSS law), Franklin Dumalvan (physical injury) and Roberto Pamilgan, Christopher Manos, and Devina Alimpuhos (all for illegal gambling).

Two drivers were also apprehended for minor traffic violations.

The operations were simultaneously conducted around 6 a.m. yesterday in the following areas: Sta. Ana Police (Kalye Putol, Barangay 33-C); San Pedro (Puroks 5 & 6, Brgy 11-A); Talomo (Prk 35, Brgy 76-A); Sasa (Km. 9, Coaco, Sasa); Buhangin (Prk San Miguel, Brgy Indangan); Bunawan (Km. 24, Bunawan); Toril (Bo. Lipadas, Brgy Daliao); Tugbok (Mintal); and Calinan (Prk 31, Poblacion, Calinan).

 Aiding the DCPO in the operations were Task Force Davao, Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Regional Mobile unit (RMU), National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU), Aviation Security Unit (AVSEU), and Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID).
