45 lady markers for 30th GET Open

FORTY five lady markers will spice up the competition on Sunday’s 30th Guillermo E. Torres (GET) Open golf tournament which tees off at the Apo Golf and Country Club grounds.

“These lady markers mostly students from the University of Mindanao will be assigned per flight and will assist the participating golfers on their scores,” said 30th GET Open coordinator Jinggo Camomot in yesterday’s Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the SM City Davao.

Camomot came with co-coordinator Fritz Tan and chairman Roy Geonzon.

These lady markers will be assigned on flights set starting at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.
On the other hand, registration is still ongoing pegged at P2,000 per entry inclusive of a mulligan. Registration and payments are made available at the Apo Golf and Country Club and at the University of Mindanao Broadcasting Network (UMBN) office.

Some 250 entries are seen to join the modified scoring system format tournament which allots a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage G4 sedan and one million pesos cash as hole-in-one prizes.

The Royal Mandaya Hotel Grand Ballroom will host the awarding ceremonies which will be that night at 6:30 p.m.
