Motortrade motorcycles are also hole-in-one prizes

Brand new motorcycles from Motortrade will also serve as one of the hole-in-one prizes in the coming 29th Guillermo E. Torres (GET) Open golf tournament which tees off this June 18 at the Apo Golf and Country Club.

These motorcycles will be set on holes of designated par 3 fairways according to GET Open golf tournament co-chairman Fritz Tan.

Aside from the motorcycles, participating golfers will also get a chance to win a brand new Mitsubishi Adventure GLX from Mitsubishi Kar Asia, one million pesos cash prize from Malayan Insurance Company and a 32-inch LED for making rare ace.

Some 180 golfers from in an out of the region are seen to join the annual tournament dubbed as the city’s longest running golf competition to date. Competition proper follows the Individual Modified Stable Ford mode of play.

Tee off times will be at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. using shotgun starts.

Registration is ongoing at the Apo Golf and Country  Club and at the University of Mindanao Broadcasting Network (UMBN) offices. It is pegged at P2,000 per entry inclusive of a mulligan.

Proceeds of the tournament will go to the scholars of the Mount Apo Science Foundation College.

The awarding ceremonies will be held on that evening at the Royal Mandaya Hotel Grand Ballroom.
