2 youth ambassadors to attend SSEAYP

TWO YOUTH ambassadors from the Davao Region have made it to the prestigious Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP), which will be held in Japan.

Allen Faith Cape from Davao City and Neal Keith Gonzales from Panabo City join a team of around 30 young leaders coming from various regions in the Philippines.

According a statement from the SSEAYP, the two young leaders made the cut after going through a panel interview and evaluation from the SSEAYP’s evaluation team.

The SSEAYP has trained around 1,000 youth ambassadors from the Philippines since its establishment in 1974.

SSEAYP is an annual program of the Japanese Government, in partnership with the Philipine National Youth Commission (NYC).

The youth leaders will embark on a sea cruise around the Eastern and Southeast Asia for 100 days.
