13th Pomelo Tee Open tees off

SOME 200 parbusters or more are expected to show their wares when the tenth edition of the Pomelo Tee Invitational golf tournament tees off today at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in nearby Indangan, Mandug.The four-day member-guest tournament format mode of play will have its tee off times at 6 a.m. and 11 a.m.

Hole-in-one prizes at stake this year include P500,000 cash, a brand new Mitsubishi sedan, a Royal Caribbean International Cruise, a Daikin aircon, items from Midea and merchandise from Mizuno.

The newly-refurbished Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) gymnasium located at Lopez Jaena Street will play host to the awards night this April 29 at 6 p.m. which will be the culminating activity of the tournament.

It is presented by the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club in cooperation with the Pomelo Tee Foundation Incorporated. It is also in partnership with its Platinum sponsors – Rizal Memorial Colleges, Hexat Mining Corporation, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines and Mitsubishi Motors Kar Asia Incorporated.
